Nordic Seed is owned by Danish Agro and Vestjyllands Andel.

Danish Agro and Vestjyllands Andel bought out the Pajbjerg Foundation and the Abed Foundation. Danish Agro now owns 84.2% of Nordic Seed and Vestjyllands Andel owns 15.8%.

Both owners have significant market shares on the Danish market for feed, fertilizers, seeds, crop protection, energy products and other agricultural products for farmers.
In recent years, both Danish Agro and Vestjyllands Andel have increased their presence and now operate in many sectors, both nationally and internationally.

In 2019, the Danish Agro group achieved the highest turnover in the groups history. A consolidated turnover on 4,7 billon EUR. This is a 7 % increase compared to 2018.
